Deandre Hopkins has the best chance to win a Super Bowl in his fantastic career after being traded from the Tennessee Titans to the Kansas City Chiefs. He provides much-needed help in their wide receiver room.

On Thursday, Deandre Hopkins faced the media for the first time as a member of the Kansas City Chiefs. He took the opportunity to take a shot at the Tennessee Titans and their lack of success the last few seasons.

Hopkins was traded to Kansas City on Wednesday. The deal came a week after the Jets acquired Davante Adams and the Bills acquired Amari Cooper The wide receiver market was starting to dry up, and the Chiefs were desperate. Hollywood Brown has been on IR since the start of the season, Rashee Rice is likely out for the season due to a knee injury, and the rest of the depth chart doesn’t inspire any confidence.

Enter Deandre Hopkins. The all-timer comes over from Tennessee after joining them prior to the 2023 season. Before that, he was on the Cardinals from 2020-2022 after spending the first seven years of his career with the Houston Texans. He’s had a slow start to this year with some terrible quarterback play in Tennessee, as he has just 15 catches for 173 yards and a touchdown. But, Hopkins had a 1000-yard season last year, and can still bring something, even if he’s far from being one of the best receivers in the NFL like he used to be.

Plus, the fact that the Chiefs are good could be a motivating factor. Since leaving the Texans, he’s played in just one playoff game and been on some pretty bad teams. Kansas City is on the verge of being the first team in league history to win three Super Bowls in a row.

Deandre Hopkins seems pretty happy about the fact that he’s going to be playing important games. Clearly, he resents how bad the Titans were.

Hopkins, 32, is set to be catching passes from Patrick Mahomes this Sunday in Las Vegas.
