As college football gets closer and closer to the end of the season, fans find themselves eagerly waiting to see where Deion Sanders will coach next season.
Sanders is likely to be linked to just about every major job that opens up over the next month and he has already been named as a candidate for the a few of the jobs that opened earlier this season.
Yesterday, a former Ohio State coach even shared a rumor that Sanders was finalizing a deal with Nebraska.

After this rumor surfaced, the hosts on 93.7 The Ticket took upon themselves to verify the rumor. The radio show’s Erick Strickland texted Sanders to see if the rumor should be believed.
Sanders responded, saying “No truth to it, my brother.”

With what Deion Sanders has done at Jackson State, it seems like just a matter of time before a major program brings him in. In just 3 seasons, Coach Prime has turned the Tigers into a powerhouse.
Last season, they went 11-2 and won their conference. This season, they’ve looked unstoppable. Jackson State currently holds a 9-0 record and have won 8 of those games by double digits, with 5 of the wins coming by at least 30. That success has earned them a spot in the FCS top 10 and will likely see them head to the FCS playoffs this season.
With how much success Sanders has already had with this program, there is no doubt that he will draw plenty of interest from programs with vacancies this offseason. We’ll just have to wait and see if he takes one of the offers.
