Colorado football players Shilo and Shedeur Sanders will be off to the NFL after competing in their final college football games last week. The Buffs fell in that matchup to Big 12 rival BYU, but the duo was able to elevate the program during their two seasons in Boulder.
Now, they sit back and wait to see which pro teams believe they’ll be a fit in their organizations. Deion Sanders has been vocal on the NFL outlook for both of his sons over the last year.
Shedeur Sanders is a likely Top 5 pick, and potentially the first quarterback off the board come April. Shilo, meanwhile, could be taken later on in the draft as he boasts a mid to late-round grade.
Coach Prime has previously suggested that he’ll have control over the draft process as he looks for the best possible landing spots. That includes not allowing the duo to suit up for certain teams.
As things currently stand, the top pick belongs to New England. The Patriots used a first-round pick on Drake Maye last season. It seems unlikely that they’d do the same for Shedeur Sanders in 2025.
The Giants and Raiders, meanwhile, might’ve ended their chances of getting the top pick with wins late in the season. Those franchises had both been mentioned as potential landing spots for Shedeur, with much attention being drawn to a possible marriage with Las Vegas.
It doesn’t seem like that will be the case barring a trade. Sanders could be off the board by Pick No. 3.
The Titans and Browns follow the Patriots in draft order with one game remaining on the NFL slate. A recent report suggested that Deion Sanders wouldn’t allow Shedeur Sanders to be drafted by either.
BREAKING: Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders has no interest in playing for Browns or Titans.
This could have major NFL draft implications, Shedeur’s father Deion Sanders will demand his son goes to a big market team with good infrastructure for a young QB.

Coach Prime caught wind of that insinuation shortly after seeing the ‘report’ go viral. He quickly shut that narrative down with a rebuttal online.
It will be multiple IDIOTS that will say things that totally aren’t true regarding where I would like Shedeur & Shilo to play in the NFL.
If I say it, I will say it directly to whom it may concern, not an attention seeker. I do know NFL Commissioner [Roger Goodell] personally.

Sanders doesn’t deny that he’ll look out for his sons’ best interest. He does, however, state that he’ll talk to teams personally rather than leak his plan through social media outlets.
The response would seemingly put both the Browns and the Titans back in the conversation in terms of drafting Shedeur Sanders should the order stand pat.
