Deion Sanders‘ son, Bucky, threw some shade at the Colorado team while playing College Football ’25. Apparently, the roster isn’t up to par!
Despite the family ties, he thinks it might be time to find a new squad. Surprisingly, he’s not the first person affiliated with the program to throw the Buffs under the bus!
Earlier this offseason, star player Travis Hunter roasted his team’s offensive line while going head-to-head with teammate Shedeur Sanders.
“Is the O-Line realistic? Yeah, they can’t block for nothing,” he was heard saying amid that friendly competition. Hunter was playing with Colorado, as was Sanders.
Talent level in the College Football ’25 video game has been criticized to this point, with much of the noise surrounding the Buffaloes. Despite coming off a 4-8 campaign from a year ago, CU was rated as the top offense and second-best defense in the Big 12 according to team rankings.
Those ratings don’t seem to be making a difference for users!
Deion Sanders Jr. threw shade at the roster.
Sanders Jr. is a former D1 football player who now runs the Colorado social media accounts. Despite his affiliation, Bucky said he needs to find a new squad to play with!
I might have to start playing with a new team… I ain’t gone lie to you

It sparked an immediate online reaction.
“Chill bro.”
“Saying this about your father’s team that you praise is nasty work.”
A number of his followers echoed the sentiments, noting porous offensive line play as the main concern. Maybe Travis Hunter was onto something!
The debut of College Football ’25 was widely anticipated, and it showed in the early release. The servers crashed due to the number of players trying to log on!
That said, the video game banked a fortune on Day 1, a number that will only rise.
It seems fans are loving the game, which represents college football’s first edition in a decade. Just make sure to find a roster that won’t frustrate you in order to enjoy it to the fullest!
