Things got testy in a matchup between the Colorado Buffaloes and the Texas Tech Red Raiders on Saturday night. Tensions weren’t contained to the players alone.
Near the end of the game, Deion Sanders’ son, Bucky, was seen shouting at and shoving a ball boy on the sidelines. The interaction came just as the Buffs sealed their 41-27 victory.
Colorado pulled out the come-from-behind win after falling behind 13-0 early. After the first quarter of play, though, it was all Buffaloes.
Shedeur Sanders threw for three touchdowns as the road squad outscored the Raiders 41-14 over the final 45 minutes. The win was officially stamped when brother, Shilo, scooped up a fumble and returned it for a score with 51 seconds remaining.

After a brief celebration, Shilo Sanders returned to the sidelines, ball in hand.
A Texas Tech ball boy then stripped the football from the defender’s hand, leading to a heated back-and-forth.

Both Shedeur and Bucky confronted the ball boy, with the latter shouting expletives at the Texas Tech staffer.
It capped a frustrating day for Red Raider fans, who were seen earlier in the contest throwing trash onto the field, voicing their displeasure with an overturned targeting call.
The Buffs got the last laugh in the contest as they improved to 7-2 on the season. With the win, Colorado took over sole possession of second place in the Big 12 championship race and they now control their own destiny in terms of making a College Football Playoff appearance.
