Dennious Jackson is a name that most college football fans do not know. The monstrous defensive lineman recently entered the transfer portal in search of his fifth different school in five years.
He has arms as big as tree trunks.
There may not be a player in college football with bigger arms than Jackson. To say that he would provide a major size boost to a program in need of depth in the trenches would be understated.
Who is Dennious Jackson?
Jackson hails from Evans, Georgia. He played defensive tackle, defensive end and fullback at Lakeside High School, which presented him with the opportunity to play junior college football at Contra Costa.
The monstrous defensive lineman played in 18 games for for the Comets, logging 41 total tackles. That includes eight tackles for loss and two sacks in 2023.
His standout sophomore season at Contra Costa allowed him to transfer up to the FBS. Kentucky ultimately received his commitment over Grambling State, Valdosta State, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, and Southern.
Jackson recorded seven tackles in seven games for the Wildcats but he decided to enter the transfer portal during the spring window last April. That led him to Colorado State. He made two tackles in 2025.

Rams head coach Jay Norvell was fired at the end of the season. Jim Mora was hired.
After some thought, Dennious Jackson decided to re-enter the transfer portal.
The NCAA recently decided not to count any years played at a junior college against the eligibility clock. He will have at least two years remaining. Schools like Illinois, Georgia State, Ohio State, UNLV, Delaware, Northwestern, Florida, Wisconsin and North Texas have already showed interest, among others.
How big are his arms?
Dennious Jackson lists himself at 6-foot-4, 315 pounds. Some rosters list him closer to 330. Others list him at 6-foot-5 or 6-foot-2. Doesn’t matter.
I am here only to discuss his arms.

Jackson obviously spends a lot of time in the weight room. His biceps are as big as his head.

He was already big when he got to Kentucky.
He obviously put in the work upon arrival to Colorado State.
Dennious Jackson is what you would call an absolute unit. His monstrous frame is one thing. His tape is another. The arms, however, are the defining feature.
I would not want to line up across from a guy with guns that could likely be registered as deadly weapons! Whichever team lands his commitment will be thrilled to have him in the trenches.
