The Cleveland Browns are being served a fat helping of karma for signing multiple-time alleged sexual assault Deshaun Watson to a then-historic fully guaranteed $230 million contract, as there’s no denying now that the 28-year-old is well and truly washed up.

Following the team’s 34-13 loss to the Washington Commanders on Sunday, the Browns fell to 1-4 on the season and have shown virtually no signs of turning their season around.

The Browns’ offense is of particular concern, as the Watson-led unit is dead last in numerous categories that highlight just how bad the former Houston Texans QB is these days.

As per ESPN NFL analyst Dan Orlovsky, who shared the data on the Monday, October 7 episode of ESPN’s morning show Get Up!, thus far this season, the Deshaun Watson-led Browns offense:

-has the worst QBR in the NFL (20)
-has the worst QBR in the NFL “when clean’ (37)
-has given up 26 sacks, eight more than the next team
-has scored on 25% of their drives, the worst in the NFL
-is averaging 3.7 yards per drop back, the worst in the NFL
-have seven touchdowns and 30 puts through five games

A normal franchise would’ve likely benched Watson for backup signal-caller Jameis Winston by now, especially considering this is now Watson’s third season in Cleveland. However, due to the outrageous contract they gave Watson, there’s speculation that the ownership is forcing the coaching staff to play him.

The Browns will look to get their second win of the season when they head to Philadelphia to take on Jalen Hurts and the Eagles in Week 6.
