Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Devin White saw his new team face his old squad on Sunday. Unfortunately, he’d be on the losing end as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers left with a 33-16 win.

White was inactive in the matchup, being a healthy scratch for a second consecutive week. He was, however, active on social media!

The defender was seen resharing a lowlight of a teammate’s costly mistake.

Late in the third quarter of play, the Philadelphia offense was on the field hoping to dig into a 30-16 deficit. A touchdown would’ve cut the lead to just one score, certainly enough to keep comeback hopes alive.

After driving into the redzone, Jalen Hurts was sacked on a first down play by Lavonte David. Hurts fumbled the ball, which was subsequently recovered by the Bucs to thwart the Eagles‘ scoring attempts.

Tampa Bay would add a field goal after the turnover to put the game out of reach.

After the fumble, Devin White took to X!

He reposted a message celebrating turnover, which annoyed the fanbase of his current team.

Shortly after receiving criticism, White deleted the post. It certainly wasn’t the best look!

White and Lavonte David have a personal relationship as they played as teammates on the Tampa Bay defense for four seasons. He insists he was only congratulating a friend. Too bad it came at Jalen Hurts’ expense!

A contract dispute ultimately led to White’s leaving the Bucs.

The linebacker reportedly wanted a four-year, $100 million deal. Tampa Bay was unwilling to agree, so White wound up in Philly though he’s yet to make his debut.

He hasn’t made the best impression with his new team!
