Diego Pavia made Vanderbilt history on Saturday by leading the Commodores to their first ever win over a Top 5 opponent. The quarterback made play after play while his team put 40 points on top-ranked Alabama.

After the win, emotions were high! Excitement led to a profanity-laced interview with SEC Network’s Alyssa Lang.

He just couldn’t help himself!

You can’t blame him for the reaction. The scene in Nashville was absolutely bananas as fans stormed the field and ripped the goalposts from the endzones. Those uprights were later deposited in the Cumberland River.

Diego Pavia was incredible on the field, going 16-20 with 252 passing yards and a pair of touchdowns. When the team needed him most, he stepped up!

After having a moment to reflect and regather his emotions, the quarterback apologized for cussing on live TV.

I’m sorry for cussing last night but, God you are the TRUTH AND ALL THE GLORY GOES TO YOU!! For yall that don’t know him, get to know him. HE IS MAGICAL!!

That apology likely wasn’t necessary for most. They understood the magnitude of the moment!

Pavia and the Commodores will enjoy the win for a few hours more before recomposing themselves and prepping for a matchup with Kentucky.
