Diego Pavia enjoyed his night out in New York despite not winning the Heisman.
On Saturday night, Pavia was in New York for the Heisman awards, where he was among the finalists to win the prestigious honor.
Before the ceremony, the Vanderbilt QB explained why he felt he should win the award.
“Well, the Heisman Trophy winner goes to the best player in college football,” Pavia said. “I believe that to be myself, you check the numbers and especially — there’s two things that don’t lie to you: Numbers and tape. I’ve been taught that since I was young, you go check that out. I feel like I’m undoubtedly the best player in college football.”
Pavia didn’t seem happy when he didn’t win the award, which went to Indiana’s Fernando Mendoza.

Hours after the Heisman ceremony, Pavia was seen partying with a model and pointing at an ‘F Indiana’ sign that was being held by fans.
Yikes: Diego Pavia hits the NYC club scene after coming up short in the Heisman to Fernando Mendoza…
Dude straight-up bought a custom sign that says “F**k Indiana.” 😬
