Tyler Worley and Collin Parmer decided to settle their differences right in front of rowdy racing fans on the straightaway at Farmington Empire Speedway. They chose to drop the gloves and throw hands!
The dirt track race devolved into mayhem as the two drivers threw haymakers during a full-blown fist fight.
There is an old saying in racing that goes a little something like this: “Fight in the pits and your banned for life, fight on the front stretch and I’ll pay you $100.” Well, that saying came to life in Missouri. Kinda.
Farmington Empire Speedway, located about 70 miles south of St. Louis, held a series of dirt track races over the weekend. The B-Modifieds category featured one of the wildest finishes I have ever seen and it had nothing to do with the actual on-course racing.
A hockey fight broke out on the front stretch!
Not long after the race came to an end, Tyler Worley and Collin Parmer agreed to good ole fashioned boxing match. According to Boo Carlisle, they each paid an additional $50 fee to the track to duke it out front and center. It was as respectful as it comes.
Both drivers walked to the middle of the straightaway, tapped gloves, and started throwing. Race officials stood nearby to step in and break it up when they eventually went to the ground.
I have never seen anything like it! Kyle Counts (@kyle.counts.79) captured the following video:

Post-race fights are pretty common in racing. Drivers lose their tempers because of an on-track incident and often go after each other in the pits after the race. Conner Jones threw punches at a driver wearing a helmet earlier this year. Bodies went flying when things got heated between pit crews at the Carolina Speedway. You get the idea.
Never before have I seen two drivers walk out to centerstage like prize fighters.
The gloves were off. There were no rules. Just two dudes scrapping it out on a dirt track. More of this!!
