Some sports fans just know how to get under the skin of professional athletes. We see it all the time. Especially in basketball and baseball.
Well, one Los Angeles Dodgers fan found a way to rattle Manny Machado a little bit. He did it once back in 2019 and came back for more in 2023.
Jomboy Media shares both incidents from a fan named Moshe.
Back in 2019, Moshe was sitting right near home plate and began mocking Machado for continuously missing out on the playoffs. The fan even teased him he should join have joined the Dodgers instead of the San Diego Padres.
In the video, Manny Machado faces the Dodgers fan and bets his contract that the Padres will win a World Series before LA.
The Dodgers proceeded to win the World Series in 2020 while the Padres haven’t gotten anywhere near a championship.
Skip ahead to 2023 and the fan returned to remind Machado of the bet he made four years ago. The guy wants his $300 million.

Maybe you side with Manny Machado because the Dodgers fan is annoying to you. But Machado probably shouldn’t have made that unofficial bet.
I mean, it’s not like the guy is actually going to receive $300 million from Machado. That’d be ludicrous. But the Padres star gave that fan enough fuel to mock him for the rest of his life.
And at the end of the day, that’s all that Dodgers fan wants. Now the Padres have to win the World Series just so Machado has a comeback.
