Despite getting some really bad news, former President Donald Trump is apparently planning on attending the UFC event in Newark, New Jersey this weekend.
On Thursday afternoon, Trump was charged with 34 felony charges in his hush money trial in New York, becoming the first former President to be convicted of a crime.
On Saturday, the UFC will hold an event at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, and the Wall Street Journal reports that Trump will be in attendance.

Trump has frequented several UFC events and has consistently gotten standing ovations from UFC fans.
UFC CEO Dana White has spoken about his close relationship with Trump in the past.

“My relationship with Trump is a 20-year relationship. I’ve been friends with this guy for 20 years, and when he shows up to the fights… The guy is a fight fan. He’s been a fight fan.” said White.
