Despite a failing war effort in Iran and inflation still ravaging American families, President Donald Trump had plenty of time for leisure this weekend as he attended UFC 327 in Miami last night. A video of Trump lavishing praise on ‘beautiful’ (his words) fighter Paulo Costa has gone particularly viral.
Costa, 34 years old, defeated Azamat Murzakanov by TKO in the 3rd round of the light heavyweight co-main event at UFC 327 on Saturday, April 11. After the fight, he was greeted by Donald Trump, who marveled at how “beautiful” he is and told him that he’s “too good looking” to be an MMA fighter and should instead be a model.

Costa improved to 15-3 with the win, moving to 2-0 at light heavyweight after the division jump. Trump, a longtime UFC fixture and close ally of Dana White, has attended multiple events since returning to office, although White does not consider the upcoming UFC event at the White House to be “political.”
The next major UFC event will be UFC 328: Chimaev vs Strickland n May 9 at the Prudential Center, in Newark, New Jersey.
