Unfortunately for the pop star, Strickland lost a controversial split decision to Du Plessis.

The decision was so controversial that even UFC CEO Dana White believed that Strickland had won the fight.
“I had it 2 to 2, going into the last round, and I thought Strickland won the last round. Guys sitting at the same table had it the other way and you know it was a close fight. I thought Strickland looked great in the first two rounds…he slowed down in the third and fourth Du Plessis kept coming forward and I had it even going into the fifth round…it was just one of those type fights, but I’m also one of those guys that thinks you need to take it from the champion.”

Joe Rogan was also stunned by the decision during his livestream.

While Du Plessis was leaving the cage, the arena DJ hilariously played Drake’s “God’s Plan” in the arena.

Maybe Drake should stop betting on the UFC.
