Aubrey Drake Graham’s OVO Brand debuted a new collaboration with New Era hats on a line of MLB lids.

The new collection features two Los Angeles Dodgers hats that, if they were released this time last year might’ve been well received, but after Kendrick Lamar’s complete and utter dismantling of Drake with ‘Not Like Us’ it seems as if the market for anyone who would care about these hats has completely evaporated.

The two Los Angeles Dodgers hats can be seen in MLB’s announcement:

They are for sale on Drake’s OVO (October’s Very Own) brand website where the fitted hats are selling for $98 each and honestly, I don’t hate the designs but it is quite funny to sift through the replies to MLB’s post on X (formerly Twitter) and see how these hats are being received. Let’s take a look at what the people are saying:

“They not like us.”

“We do NOT want this s—.”

“Nobody buying that stupid s—.”

Someone astutely pointed out in MLB’s post that “He’s not even from any of those cities??”

Another person asked “Drake got his hats lined up for whatever team he’s gonna jinx in the World Series?”

A couple people pointed out that Drake released a Yankees / New Era hat in Houston Astros colors. Can anyone make sense of that? Is it just Drake trying to jinx the Yankees for some reason with his New Era collab?

Despite this New Era collaboration with his OVO Brand, it has been a rough few months for Drake. College bands across the Summer have been trolling him. The Argentinian soccer team made sure to troll Drake after he bet against them. Drake has been taking L’s left and right and now this. His OVO Brand x New Era collaboration getting laughed at by everyone has to sting.
