Draymond Green didn’t take long to put his unique stamp on the 2025/26 NBA season, as he not only got a technical foul in the first seven minutes of the game, but also made a cameo in the NBC mockumentary comedy series St. Denis Medical.
In a teaser for the season two premiere of St. Denis Medical, it was revealed that none other than Draymond Green will be making a cameo in the series as a patient in need of care.
In the clip, doctors wheel Green into the emergency room saying he was struck by lightning, with Green then saying he “caught it right in the face.”

Given the clip sees Green wearing an oxygen tube and hospital gown, NBA fans have deemed the image the first official meme of the 2025/26 season.

In their season-opening 119-109 win over the Los Angeles Lakers, Green put up his traditional “single-triple” stat line, as he had 8 points, 9 assists and 7 rebounds to go alongside his first quarter technical foul.
