Desperate Georgia Fan Conducts Insane Plan To Stop Dylan Raiola From Flipping To Nebraska

Dylan Raiola, the top-ranked quarterback in the college football recruiting Class of 2024, is expected to flip his commitment from Georgia to Nebraska. His uncle is a coach for the Cornhuskers. His father played for Big Red in the early 2000s.

There is still time for things to change, again, and recruiting is fluid. However, Dylan Raiola is expected to visit Lincoln this weekend and commit while there. All signs point toward him playing at Nebraska next season, even though he is currently committed to Kirby Smart and transferred high schools to play his senior year of high school in the Peach State.

A flip is imminent, unless… There is a way to stop him from changing his mind!

One desperate Bulldogs fan, who goes by Lagunadawg, concocted a wild plan to prevent Raiola from changing his decision. It starts with a crazy scheme to keep this weekend’s visit from taking place.

If Raiola can’t visit, he won’t flip. Right?

Lagunadawg detailed his ideas on the DawgsHQ message board of the On3 network.

It’s being reported that Raiola will visit Nebraska on Friday. I assume that he’ll take the 2:21 Delta flight, which is also the last flight of the day to the state. Therefore, if this flight gets cancelled, he likely won’t be able to make the trip, and will stay committed to UGA. Obviously messing with commercial flights is a slippery slope, so I’m not suggesting that anybody does anything illegal, but does anyone here work for Delta?

If some loyal UGA pilots or flight attendants to call in sick at the last minute, the flight could be cancelled and we could keep Raiola. Maybe someone working could hold the flight up for “maintenance” issues? At the very least, he could “lost his checked bags” so he’d have to experience the Nebraska winter without a jacket.

I’m just spitballing ideas, but if anyone has anything else, those would also be appreciated.

There is a lot to break down here.

Lagunadawg wants a Delta employee to get multiple pilots and flight attendants to simultaneously call out sick at the same time in the name of recruiting. If that doesn’t work, he wants a Delta employee to create fake maintenance issues for a plane without maintenance issues. If that doesn’t work, he wants a Delta employee to intentionally lose a customer’s bag so that he could be cold, as if he couldn’t just buy another jacket.

That’s a new one!

You can only appreciate Lagunadawg’s creativity. His plan is terrible, and will certainly not prevent Raiola from visiting at a later date and still flipping his commitment down the road, but he put some real time and thought into his strategy.

College football is a totally normal sport. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise!
