EA Sports released its top 25 “toughest places to play” list for the upcoming College Football 25 video game and it’s a complete disaster.

The release was the first of many in what EA Sports is calling “rankings week.” In the coming days, the game developer will release additional sights and sounds from the game, the top-rated offenses and defenses, and then overall team power rankings.

EA Sports College Football 25 Releases List Of Toughest Places To Play

Tuesday, however, was all about stadiums and environments. The full list of top 25 places to play according to EA Sports is as follows:

    1. Texas A&M – Kyle Field
    2. Alabama – Bryant-Denny Stadium
    3. LSU – Tiger Stadium
    4. Ohio State – Ohio Stadium
    5. Georgia – Sanford Stadium
    6. Penn State – Beaver Stadium
    7. Wisconsin – Camp Randall
    8. Oklahoma – Memorial Stadium
    9. Florida State – Doak Campbell Stadium
    10. Florida – Ben Hill Griffin Stadium
    11. Oregon – Autzen Stadium
    12. Clemson – Memorial Stadium
    13. Tennessee – Neyland Stadium
    14. Auburn – Jordan-Hare Stadium
    15. South Carolina – Williams-Brice Stadium
    16. Michigan – Michigan Stadium
    17. Virginia Tech – Lane Stadium
    18. Utah – Rice-Eccles Stadium
    19. Texas – Darryl K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium
    20. Iowa – Kinnick Stadium
    21. Notre Dame – Notre Dame Stadium
    22. Michigan State – Spartan Stadium
    23. Arkansas – Razorback Stadium
    24. Boise State- Alberstons Stadium
    25. Mississippi State – Davis Wade Stadium

Where do we even begin with this nonsense?

For one, when was the last time someone actually struggled to win at Kyle Field? Because teams sure seemed to do okay against Jimbo Fisher. Just ask Appalachian State!

As much as it pains me as a Penn State grad, LSU deserves to be number one. But Beaver Stadium is top five and I’ll have no arguments otherwise.

Oklahoma is not a difficult place to play. Neither is Sanford Stadium, the Dawgs are just good as heck.

Doak Walker OVER The Swamp?! Have these people actually watched college football before?

And clearly, there’s some East Coast bias happening here because Autzen Stadium and Rice-Eccles are entirely too low.

Nobody outside of Texas A&M fans seemed to actually think the list was any good.

Look, as long as the game itself is good nobody is going to care in the long run. But what are we doing here, EA Sports?
