Leicester City’s all-but improbable run to become English Premier League champions was capped off by a phenomenal strike by Chelsea’s Eden Hazard, who played on Monday afternoon attempting to thwart any chance second-in-the-table Tottenham had left at raising the title.
With the 2-2 draw, Leicester City secured its first EPL title in the history of the club, having previously bested a second place table finish way back during the 1928-29 season.
What a goal from Hazard, though. The man had previously said he was pulling for LCFC to finish atop the EPL this year, and I guess he really meant it.
Heck of an effort.
