There’s always a risk of serious and scary injuries anytime players suit up for a football game at any level. Sadly, Thursday night’s game involving the Cleveland Browns and New York Jets had just that.
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore went down with an apparent head injury late in the first half of the Cleveland Browns’ 37-20 win.
Take a look at the play.

Here’s a close-up on the aftermath.
Unfortunately those are involuntary

Note, that is not a physician, but rather a physical therapist, a different, but important, medical profession.
Moore is in his third year in the NFL after the New York Jets made him a first-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. After two disappointing seasons in New York, he was traded to the Browns prior to the season. Heading into Thursday Night’s game, he had 54 catches for 579 yards and one touchdown.
I think we are all rooting for Elijah Moore to be okay and make a full recovery.
