Part of the hilarious predicament that people like Jason Whitlock find themselves in is that they have to pretend that Kid Rock is a relevant artist that they actually enjoy despite the fact that he hasn’t released a recognizable song in a quarter century.
As a result of this corner that he’s painted himself in, Jason Whitlock spent much of Sunday night and Monday morning melting down about the Bad Bunny-led halftime show, firing off tweet after tweet about how bad the show and how awesome Kid Rock was.

“I’ve rewatched the Bad Bunny halftime twice this morning. It’s Birth of a Nation for Latino people. Latinos running around, gyrating, dancing, drinking, having sex and the time of their lives on an agriculture plantation. What a celebration!” Whitlocked tweeted.
“I just finished watching it. A lot of money spent on trying to cover the fact no one understood a word and, like most rappers, Bunny has little to no real talent. He talks, walks, and grabs his crotch. No discernible talent,” he added.
Whitlock’s posturing led him to taking a shot at Elle Duncan, as he called her “unintelligent”for thinking that Bad Bunny’s performance was inspirational to a new generation of Latin children.
What he forgot, however, is that he’s still Jason Whitlock, leaving himself exposed to a truly all-time brutal comeback, and ratio, from Duncan — at the time of this writing, Whitlock’s original post as 3.3k likes, while Duncan’s reply has 22k likes.
Ellen Duncan brutally clowned on Jason Whitlock with a Shrek joke while the pair were arguing about Bad Bunny’s halftime show
Oh Jason I’m sure you can relate. It’s the same pride you probably felt when you saw Shrek for the first time!

The Apple Music Super Bowl 60 halftime show may have drawn as many as 135 million viewers on NBC, which would make it the most-watched halftime show in the history of the big game.
Conversely, Turning Point USA’s alternative halftime show peaked at about 5 million viewers on YouTube, although it’s been speculated that an undetermined portion of those viewers were bots given the lack of activity on the live stream despite the apparent viewership total.
