NFL fans have long thought that Emmanuel Acho is one of the worst, most annoying analysts in the sports television business. Now, former NFL players are hoping on board with that opinion, too, specifically, former LSU stars Leonard Fournette and Jarvis Landry.
The war of words between Emmanuel Acho and Leonard Fournette began after “Playoff Lenny” said that he would not play for new Atlanta Falcons head coach Kevin Stefanski due to his management of rookie quarterback Sheduer Sanders in Cleveland last year with the Browms.
In response, Acho claimed Stefanski was “the best thing that had happened to the Browns since he was born, which then led to Fournette taking a true dig at Acho’s uneventful career.

Holy Sh*t: The legendary Leonard Fournette goes OFF on Emmanuel Acho for talking trash while being a BENCH player.
“Out of any NFL analyst they have, he has the weakest resume. Emmanuel was ASS.”

“Emmanuel Acho, was he a starter? Oh he was a bench player. It says (he had) 33 tackles in (his) career. He started two games in his career,” Fournette said on his 4th & South podcast with former NFL wideout Jarvis Landry.
“Out of all the NFL analysts they have, he has the weakest resume. And guess what, this is the last time we’re speaking about (him) on here, but I had to let you know, we’re not them. You say, ‘Jarvis had a good career (and) Leonard was a dog.’ Jarvis was a dog. Leonard, yes, was a dog. Emmanuel was a–.”
“Let’s not talk about NFL careers (@_fournette) because if we’re being honest (top 5 pick), we both had disappointing ones, there’s a reason you’re holding a mic now. So let’s talk about your take…

Acho got wind of Fournette’s viral comments and responded to him on Monday. In his response, Acho questioned why Fournette is no longer playing in the National Football League.
“You didn’t communicate this message with football pads on. You communicated this message into a mic, which means, sir, you’re in my world. And in my world, Leonard Fournette, you haven’t earned the right to say what you saying,” Acho said.
“Leonard Fournette won a Super Bowl. I’m happy for him. But why (do) you (have) a podcast in your hand? Why (don’t) you (have) a football in your hand? Because eight running backs drafted after Leonard Fournette were still in the league last year.”
The NFL world is clearly on Fournette’s side, however, with many — including Fournette — pointing out that Acho played in just 20 NFl games during his career. Fournette, on the other hand, has over 6,700 total career yards and a Super Bowl ring.
Leonard Fournette:
-6,737 total yards and 41 TDs in career
-Averaged 95 yards, 1.1 TDs per game in 9 career playoff games
-Super Bowl Champion (135 yards and a TD vs. KC)Emmanuel Acho:
-33 tackles in 20 career games https://t.co/HftIVe8SWF— Ian Hartitz (@Ihartitz) March 23, 2026

And he’s even worse as an “analyst” somehow and that obviously isn’t easy. #NFL https://t.co/Zd7WoFSpAh
