Enes Kanter Freedom, who has been a vocal critic of LeBron James over the years, has chimed in on LeBron’s latest controversy.
Earlier this week, LeBron found himself in hot water when he questioned whether Griner should want to return to America after her imprisonment in Russia is resolved during the latest episode of “The Shop.”
… how can she feel like America has her back? I would be feeling like, ‘Do I even want to go back to America?’
LeBron later clarified his comments on Twitter after receiving a ton of backlash.
My comments on “The Shop” regarding Brittney Griner wasn’t knocking our beautiful country. I was simply saying how she’s probably feeling emotionally along with so many other emotions, thoughts, etc inside that cage she’s been in for over 100+ days! Long story short #BringHerHome

Kanter blasted LeBron for his comments and suggested the Lakers superstar should offer himself up in exchange for Griner.
