ESPN made sure to show Bo Nix’s pain in what would be his final meaningful college football game.
On Friday night, Nix and the Oregon Ducks suffered a heartbreaking loss against the Washington Huskies in the Pac-12 championship.
Late in the fourth quarter, an emotional Nix was stuck on the sidelines while Washington kept getting first downs to end the game.
While Nix had a towel on his head, ESPN’s cameras zoned in on him during Washington’s drive.
Bo Nix understandably emotional after the game…
He left it all on the field tonight.

College football fans mocked ESPN for fixating on Nix for so long during the end of the game.

Earlier this week Nix told the media that he tries not to read social media and watch the TV during the college football season.

“Staying off TV, staying off social media has helped me a lot,” “All I am around is the guys in the locker room, the coaches, and practice and meetings. I pretty much just stay up here all day and get to work and prepare and make sure that, at the end of the day, when it’s a big moment, it’s not me who’s messing it up for the team. I just want to be as prepared as possible, and I want to put our guys in the best situation to go out there and win the game.”
Nix will likely want to stay off social media for a little while longer.
