ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski may have taken his first L as an NBA insider.
Earlier this week, Woj’s colleague Brian Windhorst reported that James Harden wanted out of Brooklyn and that a deal with the Sixers was imminent.
“We are in the deal zone between Harden and Simmons,” per @WindhorstESPN on @GetUpESPN
“I suspect they are gonna get it done. I can’t tell you they are gonna get it done. But it’s trending in that direction.”

Woj went on TV twice and contradicted Windhorst’s report by saying that there were no significant negotiations between the Sixers and the Nets for Harden.
“Brooklyn and Philadelphia are not engaged in anything meaningful.”

Windhorst eventually ended up being right, and Harden was traded by the Nets to the Sixers.
The Brooklyn Nets are trading James Harden to the Philadelphia 76ers for Ben Simmons, Seth Curry, Andre Drummond and two first-round picks, sources tell ESPN.

Fans are now calling for Woj to apologize to Windhorst.
Woj needs to apologize to Windy. He sh*tted all over Windy's report even though Windy was 100% correct and now Woj is taking the credit for breaking the trade lol. Dirty media game
