During Thursday’s Apple Music Super Bowl halftime show press conference, Bad Bunny walked back his previous comments.
“I know I told [people] they had four months to learn Spanish. They don’t even have to learn Spanish. It’s better if they learn to dance.”
Bad Bunny said people had months to learn Spanish to enjoy his show. It was controversial because the United States is English speaking.
Om Friday, Steele went on Fox News and blasted Bad Bunny for leading “with hate” for his comments.
“This about when as an artist you lead with hate and that’s what Bad Bunny has done. Day one, he says, ‘I’m not going to speak your language.’ You have four months? Learn it? Are you kidding me? That would never be acceptable in their country. Disturbing He said he hates us, doesn’t want to take our money, but now he’s doing it. When you saw Kid Rock there say that—the alternative, Turning Point—he, all of them, they’re coming from a place of love. Include everybody who wants to watch something different.”
