Former NBA player Dwight Howard is going through a messy divorce, and he hasn’t even been married for a year. On Tuesday, TMZ received court documents revealing that Howard’s wife, reality star and rapper Amber Rose Howard, better known as Amy Luciani, had filed for divorce in Georgia.
“The marriage is irretrievably broken, there are no prospects for reconciliation,” said Amber in the court documents.
In the court documents, Amber asks the court for alimony and is requesting that all marital assets and property be “equitably divided” by the courts.

Amber spoke with The Shade Room about her divorce from Howard.
“Although it is true, I am not sure how it got out to the public,” Luciani’s statement read. “Still wrapping my head around a lot. Although I know it won’t happen, I hope the public can give us grace and privacy right now.”
Howard earned $240 million throughout his NBA career, and it appears that he did not sign a prenuptial agreement.
