Four days ago, FS1’s Cris Carter was the first to report that the NFL was going to suspend Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliot this week . When Carter made those comments, Elliott’s father, Stacey, took to Twitter to proclaim that he was getting ready for a “show down”.

Cris Carter’s prediction eventually came true today as Elliott was suspended for six games by the league for domestic violence.
It’s hard to tell whether Zeke’s dad is talking about the NFL or his son’s accuser in the tweets but it seems pretty clear that Elliott and his family are going to fight his suspension.
