LeBron James is currently sidelined with a groin strain, meaning the NBA legend is spending more time on the bench than he’s used. Due to the injury, LeBron was away from the Lakers this weekend and was instead in attendance at his son Bryce’s high school basketball game, where he was seen being accosted by a fan.

Over this weekend, LeBron, sidelined by a groin injury and thus not traveling with the Lakers, was joined by his family on the bench, who were accosted by a fan sitting just feet away — reports indicate there were 8,396 fans in attendance at the game.

A viral video taken at the CIF State Division 1 championship basketball game between the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers and the Lincoln Trojans on Friday, March 14 showed LeBron — sitting on the sidelines with his wife Savannah and daughter Zhuri — being accosted by a fan who was sitting just a few feet behind him.

The fan’s behavior was appalling, as he screamed at James and his family at the top of his lungs despite being just two rows behind them. A viral tweet with over 3 million views shared sympathy for the James family, saying LeBron acting like nothing is happening is impressive.

Sierra Canyon, the school Bryce James attends, won the championship over Stockton Lincoln by a score of 58-53. In the game, Bryce James played 25 minutes and shot 1-9 from the field, including 0-3 from three, en route to ultimately posting three points, five rebounds, and two assists. James, 17 years old, committed to play college basketball at the University of Arizona earlier this year.

As for LeBron’s eldest son Bronny, he had his best game as a pro on the same night Sierra Canyon won their state title, as he posted five points, two rebounds and one steal in the Lakers’ 131-126 loss to the Denver Nuggets.
