According to a number of sources, the two major American daily fantasy sports gambling magnates may be set to merge if talks go well.

It should be noted that merger talks have deteriorated in the past amid disputes of how executive positions would be delegated between the companies existing officials.

If FanDuel does acquire DraftKings, it will surely change the face of daily fantasy in America, seeing as two enormous consumer bases would also be merging as well, and vying for prizes in a much larger market. Speculation says the merger would surely see marketing and advertising costs reduced. However, it definitely calls into question antitrust regulations in the market.

Neither company has offered comment when the report of the deal was broached.
