NFL fans don’t seem too happy with Post Malone’s shift into country music.
In the past few years, Malone has shifted from a rapper/hip-hop artist to a country music artist.
“I want to make sure I do things with respect. I feel honored that everyone has been accepting and patient with me,”
“I’ve always just tried to make music that’s true to who I am — no matter,” Malone told the Tennessean. “I make what makes me happy. So to be part of something that celebrates artists for doing their own thing and pushing boundaries, that feels really special.”
“Performing country music is an entirely different discipline and requires an entirely different vocal delivery from working in pop,”
On Thursday, Post Malone, an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, performed the halftime show for the Cowboys’ Thanksgiving Day game vs the Chiefs. and played a countrified medley of his hits.
Fans on social media did not seemed thrilled about listening to Post Malone’s country songs.
