Lewis Hamilton moves the needle in a big way.
On Thursday afternoon, Sky News reported that Hamilton would be leaving Mercedes and joining Ferrari in 2025.
“Lewis Hamilton is going to Ferrari for the 2025 season Mercedes employees in Brackley base in a meeting that is what’s happening…they’ve been told that Lewis Hamilton is leaving Mercedes at the end of the 2024 season.”

Immediately after the Lewis Hamilton news hit, Ferrari’s stock shot up to all-time highs.

An hour after the news, Ferrari gained $10 billion in market cap just because of Hamilton.
