For the first time in the 24-year history of the Toronto Raptors, the team will be competing in the NBA Finals.

Tipoff for Game One is set for 9 p.m.

Ticket gates don’t open until 7 p.m.

Fans were already getting in line at Jurassic Park, aka Scotiabank Arena, before 4 a.m.

Yeah, they’re a little excited.

According to blogTO.com, people were also lining up to secure first-come, first-served admittance to the fan zone viewing party in Maple Leaf Square as early as 4 a.m.

Check out how many people were already on hand before 7 a.m. – a full 12 hours before tipoff.

“This is incredible. I mean, this is something that doesn’t happen all the time,” said a fan named Drew Ebanks who was posted up outside of Scotiabank Arena shortly after 6:30 a.m.

It wasn’t all just sitting around chanting “Let’s go Raptors” though. Former Toronto Raptors star Chris Bosh stopped by to say to the diehards.

By 8:30 a.m., there were literally hundreds of people on hand as Good Morning America broadcast live from the arena.

For those who aren’t quite so crazy, Cineplex will be broadcasting the NBA Finals live at 33 theaters across Canada. God help us all if the Raptors actually win the title.
