Hulk Hogan’s daughter, Brooke Hogan, has no say in whether her father receives an autopsy in the state of Florida. Last week, the legendary WWE wrestler passed away at the age of 71 after suffering a cardiac arrest in his Clearwater home.
The medical examiner said Hogan previously had leukemia and atrial fibrillation, an irregular heart rhythm, but did not perform an autopsy after he ruled out foul play.
During a surprise appearance on Bubba the Love Sponge’s radio show, Hogan’s daughter Brooke questioned her father’s death and offered to pay for a private autopsy.
‘Because yes you can have a heart attack, but what was the reason for the heart attack? If he was up and doing breathing exercises then that means the surgery on his heart was a success and it was working.
‘I would be surprised if a surgeon would work on someone with leukemia or a high blood cell count and not do further investigations. I told my dad “put cameras in your house because one of these b—es could push you down the stairs and nobody would ever know”.’
Hogan’s wife, Sky, responded by saying her husband’s body has yet to be cremated to make sure the family’s questions are answered.
On Friday, TMZ reported that Florida will not perform an autopsy on his daughter’s request.

Hulk Hogan’s wife — not his daughter — is the only one who can make the decision on an autopsy for the WWE legend, TMZ Sports is told. The District Six Medical Examiner in Largo, Fla. said on Friday that despite Brooke Hogan’s wishes for a probe into her father’s body … it’ll ultimately be Sky Daily’s choice.
For now, the official said, they have been given no indication Sky is seeking a report. The District Six Medical Examiner stated Sky would have to report any suspicions about Hulk’s death to cops … and only after an investigation would the ME become involved.
The Clearwater Police Department insists there are “no signs of foul play or anything suspicious” about Hogan’s death.
