Popular Florida Instagram model Sophie Rain got into a heated debate with gubernatorial candidate James Fishback on Piers Morgan’s show.
Last month, Fishback, who is running for Governor of the State of Florida, went viral while campaigning for a 50 percent tax on models who sell subscriptions.
“As Florida governor, I don’t want young women in my state selling their bodies to sick men online… They will pay 50% to the state on whatever you so-called earn via that online degeneracy platform. We will raise hundreds of millions.”
On Thursday, both Rain and Fishback appeared on the Piers Morgan show and debated the proposed sin tax.
Sophie Rain: “I mean, I’m going to be honest, it’s ridiculous. It’s very ridiculous. Florida already has no income state tax. It doesn’t exist. So it just seems very selective and it seems like it’s a punishment.”
James Fishback: “It’s not a punishment at all. What it is is a deterrent. I think Sophie recognizes that our state was better off when young women aspired to be teachers, small business owners, doctors, and lawyers as opposed to creating adult content. I can respect Sophie Rain as an individual and still respectfully call out that I don’t want thousands of young women who are in high school today to feel like the only way they can make a living when they graduate is selling adult content, video, photos of themselves on the internet.”
Rain: “I feel like as adults, we are all able to legally make our own decisions. And I think that we should also educate a lot more on all of these opportunities that you are speaking of because I just don’t think that we should be singling out any individual for what they choose to do.”
Fishback: “Sophie, what are you gonna tell your daughter in 10-15 years, when your images are all over the internet and she’s gonna be bullied in middle school?”

Rain probably doesn’t have much to worry about because it appears that Fishback is only polling at 4 percent against leading candidate Byron Donalds, who is polling at 46 percent before the primaries.
