Sophie Rain is not happy about the “sin tax” being proposed by one Florida gubernatorial candidate.
Last year, Rain claimed she had made $95 million from subscriptions over the past two years and bragged that she earned as much as LeBron James.
‘I almost made more than LeBron last year,” said Rain on a podcast.

Unfortunately for Rain, Florida gubernatorial candidate James Fishback is using her as an example while proposing a 50 percent “sin tax” on OnlyFans models.
“As Florida governor in year one, I will push for the first of its kind OnlyFans Sin Tax.”
“If you are a so-called OnlyFans creator in Florida, you are going to pay 50% to the state on whatever you so-called earn via that online degeneracy platform…”
“We will raise hundreds of millions of dollars of income on the Only Fans Sin Tax.”
“If we don’t raise that income, you know what it’ll mean? It’ll mean something even greater has materialized for the young women and young men of our state…”
NEW: Florida gubernatorial candidate James Fishback proposes an Only Fans ‘Sin Tax’ of 50% for OF creators in Florida, says the money will be used to fund the education system.

On Tuesday, Rain fired back at Fishback over the proposed tax on OF models.
“Never in my whole life did I think that I would wake up and see a Florida politician trying to start beef with me for clout. So he’s proposing a sin tax on bops where we would have to pay 50% to the state, on top of the 37 I already paid to the government!”
“And I’d be more than happy if multibillion-dollar corporations were also being properly taxed, but surprise, they’re not!! I never usually get into politics but there are clearly better ways to raise funds from actual corrupt businesses in our country. I think that people also fail to realize that there’s so many creators on this platform who do the job because they’re struggling. So taxing them like that when they literally just support their families is sad. I would much rather continue donating directly to those who need it because we all know where.”
targeting a group of individuals using their job to survive when there are multibillion dollar corrupt business that don’t pay any taxes is the insane. pic.twitter.com/WCGyWc41UB
