I’ll never know what it’s like to go mental in a sport, where a play is so insane that jaws drop and people’s minds are blown, but Philadelphia Flyers goalie Michal Neuvirth sure does—because he just made the save of the NHL season tonight against the Minnesota Wild.
Laying out and tossing his stick out to try and make up for a wide open left side of the net, Neuvirth’s wood became his best friend, stopping a last-second shot that was within about a fucking centimeter of being in, giving his team the victory.
File this under things that we won’t see again for a long time.
