Quentin Jammer had an impressive 11-year career after being selected No. 5 overall in the 2002 NFL Draft by the then-San Diego Chargers.

Jammer, an All-Rookie selection in 2002, spent the first 10 years of his career in San Diego, anchoring one of the league’s best secondaries before finishing his career with one season with the Denver Broncos.

As it turns out, Jammer’s strong play may be even more impressive than anyone thought. On Monday night, he revealed that he played the majority of the 2011 season with the Chargers while “s— faced drunk.”

Quentin Jammer Played Most Of 2011 Season While Heavily Drunk

“True story……. In 2011 I played completely s— faced drunk in at least 8 games,” Jammer posted on X.

Coincidentally, it was one of just three seasons in Jammer’s career that he didn’t have an interception. Although according to his reply to a fan, he “Wasn’t a pick getter bro. What do u want me to tell u?”

While most fans found Jammer’s admission pretty funny in hindsight, a number of them called him, and the NFL veteran didn’t respond well to that criticism.

“Funny s— abt this app. Ppl want u to engage and be real. but as soon as u r here come the wanna be cool free thinkers to try and ruin my show! F— then n—–. If I wanna tell yall parts of my life, I will. Don’t wanna hear. Block, mute, idgaf just get the f— on somewhere!”

Jammer’s drinking couldn’t have affected his played too much, because the Chargers brought him back in 2012, his final season with the team. In fact, he had 64 tackles, three interceptions, and three fumble recoveries in 2012. So, he either stopped drinking or was incredibly adept at playing while drunk.

Either way, it’s remarkably impressive.
