Former UFC Champion Cain Velasquez Reportedly Shot At Man Who Was Accused Of Molesting Relative Over ‘100 Times’

We’re beginning to learn more about the arrest of former UFC champion Cain Velasquez.

On Monday night, Velasquez was arrested for attempted murder after allegedly shooting at a man.

UFC legend Cain Velasquez spent Monday night in jail … TMZ Sports has confirmed the 39-year-old has been arrested and booked on an attempted murder charge.

In the alleged incident, one person was shot while another was arrested. Nothing further surrounding the circumstances of the situation has been released.

Jail records show Velasquez is still in custody as of Tuesday morning … and has a court date set for Wednesday at noon.

Robert Salonga of the San Jose Mercury News obtained the court documents in the case and is reporting that Velasquez reportedly shot at a man who was accused of molesting one of his relatives. Velasquez missed the man and ended up hitting his stepdad.

According to NBC Bay Area, court documents reveal the alleged abuse of Velasquez’s relative may have occurred “100 times.

Velasquez is facing 15 years to life in prison if convicted of attempted murder.
