Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Gardner Minshew is an off-beat kind of dude, to put it lightly. NFL fans have known this ever since he broke onto the scene with the Jacksonville Jaguars back in 2015.
Whether it be his 70s adult film star facial hair or his stories of drinking whiskey and purposefully trying to break his own hand to traveling across the country in an RV, Minshew has long marched to the beat of his own drum in undeniably endearing fashion.
Over the weekend, however, one Raiders fan appeared to catch the, uh, weirded side of Minshew’s trademark weirdness, as he appeared to be picking and eating his boogers on the sideline during the Raiders’ 34-18 loss to their AFC West division rivals, the Denver Broncos.

Named the Las Vegas Raiders’ starting quarterback into the season, the 28-year-old Minshew has completed 70.7% of his passes for 1,014 yards, four touchdowns, and five interceptions through the Raiders’ first five games.
Minshew was drafted out of Washington State University, where he played under the late, great Mike Leach, in the 6th round of the 2019 NFL Draft (178th overall). After making a name for himself by throwing 21 touchdowns and six interpcetions as a rookie, Minshew payed just 9 games for the Jaguars the following season.
After backing up Jalen Hurts in Philadelphia in 2021 and 2022, Minshew started 13 games for the Indiapolis Colts in 2023, posting a 7-6 record wihile completing 62.2% of his passes for 3,305 yards, 15 touchdowns and 9 interceptions.
