Geno Smith continues to play at a high level with the Seattle Seahawks.
Many doubted the organization with their decision to trade Russell Wilson, but it now appears to be paying off. Through five games, the team is averaging 25.4 points a game, having scored 100 points in the last three games alone.
Smith has been a big part of that success, throwing for more than 1,300 yards in five starts, notching a 9:2 touchdown-to-interception ratio.
After receiving Offensive Player of the Week honors following a win over the Lions, Smith threw for 268 yards and three scores in a 39-32 loss to the Saints.
A few throws from that contest are now going viral.
Geno Smith goes viral for incredible throws vs. Saints
Geno Smith was seen making some insane throws in that matchup with New Orleans, some that many say can only be made by a few NFL signal callers.
Here’s a brief highlight reel from Sunday’s performance.

Of those clips, many NFL fans are focusing on one throw in particular. It involves Smith rolling out to his left side then lofting a pinpoint perfect deep ball to a receiver while on the run.
The arm strength and accuracy needed to complete the pass are certainly impressive.
This Twitter account posted a video of the incredible toss with a caption reading, “Maybe 3 QBs [in the NFL] who make this throw.”

Another poster shared that same sentiment, simply saying, “This is ridiculous.”
Those weren’t the only insane plays made by the signal caller Sunday
The NFL reposted a pair of absolute dimes thrown to Tyler Lockett in heavy traffic. Each pass was hauled in for a touchdown.
GENO SMITH! Absolute dime to Tyler Lockett.

Smith is quickly becoming a human highlight reel, which is a sentence I never thought I’d be writing in the 2022 season. He’s proven many wrong throughout hot start. He’ll look to keep it going against the division rival Cardinals in Week 6.
