Georgia Tech Punter Gets Suplexed After A Punt-Fake Goes Terribly Right

Yes, you read that headline correctly: Technically everything about this Georgia Tech punt-fake went terribly right. Punter Sean Poole pulled off a perfectly executed rush and the Yellow Jackets got a much-needed first down. But the Miami linebacker who greeted him after crossing the chain chew tackled him with a suplex, like something straight out of ’80s Wrestlemania.

This needs the Jim Ross voice over ASAP.

Update: Apparently this wrestling move isn’t a suplex, as a couple fans pointed out. This is a SPINEBUSTER. From now on, I’ll leave the wrestling jargon to Chris, k, you guys?
