Yankees’ Giancarlo Stanton Running Becomes A Meme After He Gets Called Out At Home

NY Yankees superstar Giancarlo Stanton has become a meme after a base running debacle during Game 3 of the World Series.

On Monday night, the Dodgers traveled to New York, up 2-0 in the World Series and were looking to take a commanding lead in the series.

In the bottom of the fourth inning, Yankees’ Anthony Volpe hit a single to left field, which was then fielded by the Dodgers’ Teoscar Hernandez while Stanton was on second.

Stanton was waved home by Yankees third base coach Luis Rojas and was called out at home after his slowly making his way around the bases.

While Rojas set him up for failure, Stanton got mocked with memes on social media.
