Gina Carano has transformed her body in preparation for her upcoming MMA fight against Ronda Rousey in May.

Last month, Rousey revealed she decided to return to MMA to motivate Carano to lose weight.

“I was nine months pregnant, and I saw a video of Gina Carano giving an interview and she didn’t look good,” Rousey said. “She gained an unhealthy amount of weight, and my first thought was ‘oh my god, what can I do to help?’ The reason why I had that thought was because she’s the one woman not only in MMA that doesn’t owe me a damn thing but that I owe immensely. I’m always trying to look out what I could do for her.”

Here’s what Carano looked like in 2024 when she was going through several personal issues.

On Tuesday, Carano showed off her body transformation ahead of her fight against Rousey.

Carano told the media that she hopes to inspire women after going through her health journey ahead of her fight vs Rousey.

“For women, I think they try to put you out to pasture, like if we’re some Golden Girls already, and I think that we’re learning so much about the human body, I’ve learned so much about what the body is capable of.

“You can do anything, if I can come back and do an MMA fight after all this time, you can definitely reach your goals.”
