Green Day had a message for ICE agents at Spotify’s Super Bowl party on Friday.
A few weeks ago, Green Day was announced as a performer during the pregame show, which did not sit well with President Trump, given the band’s criticism of the Trump administration.
“I’m anti-them. I think it’s a terrible choice. All it does is sow hatred. Terrible,” Trump told the NY Post.
On Friday night, Green Day played at Spotify’s Super Bowl party in San Francisco, and lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong advised ICE agents to quit their jobs.
“To all the ICE agents out there, wherever you are, quit your sh-tty-ass job. Quit that sh-tty job you have. Because when this is over — and it will be over at some point in time — Kristi Noem, Stephen Miller, JD Vance, Donald Trump, they’re gonna drop you like a bad f*cking habit. Come on this side of the line.”

It’ll be interesting to see if Green Day says anything political during their Super Bowl opening ceremony on Sunday.
