After getting dumped by powerhouse agency CAA amidst his contract holdout with the New York Jets, defensive end Haason Reddick has signed with Drew Rosenhaus’ agency Rosenhaus Sports.
Throughout the course of his holdout, which began when he was with the Philadelphia Eagles and continued through his trade to the Jets, Haason Reddick has sacrificed nearly $4.7 million in game checks and another $5 million in fines.
According to reports from ESPN, prior to releasing him, CAA and the Jets were negotiating a contract solution but “Reddick apparently refused to budge from his desire to get a long-term extension.”
“We look forward to working with the Jets to get this resolved as soon as possible,” Rosenhaus told ESPN‘s Adam Schefter. “Haason would like to be a New York Jet for years to come and our goal is to make that happen.”

If signing with Rosenhaus does lead to Reddick ending his holdout, he’ll be joining a New York Jets team that’s already fired their head coach, as Robert Saleh was canned just five games into the season.
Saleh was replaced by defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich, who will serve as interim head coach for the remainder of the season and will make his debut as “HC of the NYJ” on Monday Night Football against the Buffalo Bills on October 14.
Despite the turbulent start to their 2024 season, if the Jets are able to upset the Bills at home, they’ll take sole possession of first place in the AFC East with a 3-3 record — even with the Bills but ahead on the head-to-head tiebreaker.
Rosenahus has represented some of the biggest names in football over the year, such as Tyreek Hill, Terrell Owens, Warren Sapp, Antonio Brown, Chad Johnson, Rob Gronkowski, Frank Gore, and many more, having negotiated over $7 billion in NFL contracts during his career.
