Women’s college basketball star Hailey Van Lith is making her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue debut, as she’s been announced as the April 2025 Digital Cover model. Van Lith was the 2025 Big 12 Player of the Year this season while starring at TCU.
Hailey Van Lith, 23 years old, is also an Olympic medalist, having one a bronze medal with the 3×3 basketball team at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
In addition to winning Big 12 player of the year, Van Lith also led the Horned Frogs to their first ever Big 12 titles in both the regular season and conference tournament. In the NCAA Tournament, she also led the program to its first ever Elite Eight appearance.
In the upcoming WNBA Draft on April 14, Van Lith is expected to be roughly a top ten pick after averaging 17.9 points, 4.6 rebounds, 5.4 assists per game during the 2024/25 season with Texas Christian University. Van Lith previously played at Louisville from 2020 to 2023 and LSU from 2023 to 2024.
“I am a loyal person, and I think some people laugh at me when I say that, because they’re like, ‘You’ve transferred twice,’” Van Lith told Sports Illustrated about her college career. “Loyalty begins with honoring yourself before you can truly honor other people. I think that sometimes my career puts ideas in people’s heads that I’m an individual [first and foremost], and that’s not the case.”
