Hockey Goalie Turned Model Mikayla Demaiter Shares Stunning Beach Photos While On Vacation

Former hockey goalie turned model Mikayla Demaiter has been on vacation in St Lucia for a better part of a month, and she’s still heating things up while there.

For those that don’t know, Demaiter used to be a professional women’s hockey goalie who was forced to retire due to a devastating knee injury and turned to modeling.

“Dear Hockey, It is time to say goodbye. It is time to turn the page and move to the next chapter of my life, for the first time you will not be my number one focus.

I am excited for the future because everything you have taught me will allow me to succeed. There will still be early mornings, new adventures and new friends, and I hope that I embrace them with the same love and passion I did for you.”

The Canadian, who loves to travel, has been heating things up in St Lucia and shared some stunning beach photos on Wednesday on social media.

While it’s terrible that Mikayla can’t play hockey anymore, it does seem like she’s having a good time traveling to beautiful parts of the world.
