The hotel that New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel and The Athletic reporter Dianna Russini were covertly caught getting close at has been revealed to be the Ambiente Sedona. Ambiente Sedona isn’t just any old hotel, either, as it’s described as an “adults only luxury resort”.
While the NFL owner’s meetings were held in Arizona the same week Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini were photographed lounging poolside, holding hands, and hugging on a private rooftop, the hotel they were caught at was not only a different resort, but in a different city entirely.
Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel were photographed at the Ambiente Arizona, an “adults only” couples retreat 2+ hours away from where the NFL owner’s meeting was held
The 2026 NFL Annual League Meeting was held at the Arizona Biltmore Hotel in Phoenix, March 29-31. Ambiente Sedona — where the photos of the pair were taken — is a completely separate property roughly two hours north of Phoenix in Sedona.
The Ambiente Sedona is also an “adults-only luxury landscape hotel” that markets itself as being a place for “couples to reconnect” — you must be at least 18 years old to stay at the resort. According to locals, the resort is “very isolated.”
I live in Scottsdale. That hotel is SUPER high end. Very isolated. Someone was tipped off

So they drove 2.5 hours from Phoenix (The Owner’s Meetings) to Sedona for an exclusive interview? 😉

As for the property of the Ambiente Sedona, it features only 40 atriums, a 24/7 hot tub, couples spa treatments, and private rooftop star decks (Vrabel and Russini were seemingly photograpged on one of these rooftop decks). It alsio features exclusively king beds in all atriums and is primarily designed as a couples retreat.
Despite all evidence to the contrary, both Vrabel and Russini released statements denying any wrongdoing.
“These photos show a completely innocent interaction and any suggestion otherwise is laughable. This doesn’t deserve any further response,” Vrabel said.
“The photos don’t represent the group of six people who were hanging out during the day. Like most journalists in the NFL, reporters interact with sources away from stadiums and other venues,” Russini claimed.
On Thursday, Russini posted on social media for the first time since the photos of her and Vrabel were published. Her replies were full of references to the alleged illicit relationship, suggesting this ordeal might have permanently altered her and Vrabel’s public images.
